Laura and Helen were invited panelists at the Green Marketing Workshop for New England Women in Energy and the Environment (NEWIEE). Presenting on Avoiding Greenwashing, they were joined by several other New England-based women in green marketing and PR. The event was well-attended by over 80 people.
From the press release announcing the event: “NEWIEE was formed to bring together women in the energy and environment fields. It provides informal forums for those involved to share knowledge and expertise, and to help educate others about the field,” explained Judy Chang, executive director of NEWIEE. “Green marketing is becoming more and more relevant to new and established companies. The event will provide an opportunity for us to hear from some expert marketers in the New England area.” |
