Social Media Strategy

Challenge:

Our client, another marketing and PR firm, wanted to deliver a thoughtful and effective social media strategy to their cleantech client. They brought us in for our clean energy domain expertise and social media knowledge.

Approach:

  • Exploration
    • We reviewed the scope of work and background documents to understand the client, researched their technology, and assessed their limited current online presence.
  • Articulation
    • Based on the campaign goals and client capabilities, we developed an achievable social media plan including use of Facebook, Flickr, Twitter, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
    • We created profiles and "rules of the road" for each social media tool, advised regarding tracking and metrics, and recommended tools for managing multiple simultaneous content creators. We also consulted on the campaign "voice" and social media etiquette, as well as content.
  • Implementation
    • We consulted through the process of taking the campaign live.

Results:
