Our principles begin with a story...

When Millville Partners was still an acorn of an idea, we considered naming the company Sherpani, referring to female sherpas. Their role embodies our approach: we are willing and able to get you to your summit. Whether you're aiming to add to your customer base, raise your profile, or handle those marketing projects you never get to, we are here to do your heavy lifting, to be your trusted guide, and to celebrate with you once you reach the top. The best part is, you won't need supplemental oxygen.

The name Sherpani wasn't a practical fit, but the idea reflects our principles. We believe:

•    In values-driven profitability: doing well while doing good.
•    In marketing with integrity. We stand behind our clients and we deliver authentic messages.
•    In being responsive, not reactive. When an avalanche hits, we know to swim with the snow.
•    In humor as an essential business tool.
•    In gold stars (cookies work, too).
•    In an inclusive process with clear decision-makers. Successful expeditions require a balance of teamwork and leadership.
•    In using all resources efficiently (including time and good will).
•    In good grammar. Except when we don't. Spelling is non-negotiable.
•    In setting an example: we don't just market corporate and environmental responsibility, we live it – and here's how:

◦    Our office address is powered with 100% wind energy.
◦    Our website hosting is solar-powered.
◦    We print as little as possible, and work with our clients to minimize printed marketing materials.
◦    When we have to print, we do so on 100% post-consumer recycled paper.
◦    We travel via public transportation whenever possible.
◦    We drive Prii (and can hardly wait to get EVs).
◦    We buy local when possible, and consider embodied carbon in choosing non-local products.
